Brief History

Chadô Urasenke Tankôkai Melbourne Association was formally established in 1991 as a not-for-profit association. The inaugural President was Mr Tsutomu Okuda; he was succeeded by Mr Carillo Gantner AC and President Emerita  Mrs Pauline Gandel AC. We acknowledge with sincere thanks their generosity and support.
